Digital Property Maps - Information

The Digital Property Maps are a graphical display of land parcels in New Brunswick. The associated PID (parcel identifier) is also included. While the Digital Property Maps may not be free from error or omission, care has been taken to ensure the best possible quality. The Digital Property Maps are a graphical representation of property boundaries which approximates the size, configuration and location of properties. It is not a survey and is not intended to be used for legal descriptions or to calculate exact dimensions or area.

Spatial Framework

• Reference System: North-American Datum 1983 (CSRS)
• Projection: Stereographic Double
• Resolution (X,Y): 0.05 metre

The Digital Property Maps will be updated approximately every 6 months.

The DPM files to be downloaded can be selected by county or management unit area and each file can be downloaded in three different formats:

• CARIS ASCII)
• Autodesk DXF
• ESRI Shape
