What's New?

This page is set up to inform users of any significant changes to the Registry. It is not intended that this page set out a complete historical record of all information items posted on the page. As information items become "dated" and lose relevancy, they will be deleted.

  1. New Payment Option

    • Effective April 22, 2008, the American Express credit card will be accepted as another form of payment for Corporate Registry electronic submissions and accessing CARD Online.

      As well users will be required to indicate the credit card security code when submitting payment. The Card Security Code (CVV) is requested as an additional security precaution to ensure that your credit card information is not being used fraudulently.

  2. Electronic filing of Annual Return of Non-Profit Company

    • Effective February 5, 2007, non-profit companies are now able to file annual returns online and the database is updated immediately. Go to Non-Profit Company - Provincial - Annual Return - Form 35.1 under our Products & Services tab to file your non-profit annual return. Certain conditions apply to the on-line filing.

  3. Annual Return Fees and Forms

    • For provincial business corporations, the annual return fee is now $80 for a return that is submitted in paper form and only $60 if submitted online at www.snb.ca Form 24.3 is the new annual return form.

    • For extra-provincial business corporations, the annual return fee is now $220 for a return that is submitted in paper form and only $200 if submitted online at www.snb.ca Form 33.1 is the new annual return form.

    • The above changes are effective immediately and apply to corporation having an anniversary month in or subsequent to May 2006.

  4. Revised Fees for Corporate Registry

    • Effective November 8, 2004, most Corporate Registry fees are revised. To view the new schedule of fees, go to www.snb.ca/e/6000/6608e.asp.

 
NOTICE
Maintaining your access to the online Corporate Registry
 
SNB Corporate Registry will soon be introducing important changes to the Corporate Registry, including the introduction of a new online search fee.
 
These changes will bring the Corporate Registry into alignment with SNB's other registries and will facilitate SNB investing in improving electronic access to the Corporate Registry.
 
Beginning July 18th 2005, SNB will introduce a charge for online or inquiry access to the Corporate Registry. Recognizing the uniqueness of our clients needs, there are three ways you may choose to access information from the Corporate Registry:
 
  1. Per-Transaction Internet search with Credit Card: Users will be required to enter their credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) to search the online Corporate Registry database. A charge of $3.00 for each detailed search result requested will apply.  
     
  2. Telephone search inquiry with Credit Card:Users may contact our Teleservice agents toll-free via 1-888-762-8600. A fee of $5.00 for each detailed search result requested will be charged against the Caller's credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express).  
     
  3. Unlimited Internet Searching as a subscriber: For $50.00 per month, billed via Electronic Funds transfer with your Bank, you will have unlimited access to search the database. To obtain a user name and password, you must complete an application which includes banking information. We recommend frequent users of the Corporate Registry become subscribers as their most cost effective option to search the Registry.
 
To ensure you are established as a subscriber by July 18th, you should ensure your subscription application has been received by us no later than June 30th. Failure to meet this timeline will mean that you must access the Registry after July 18th by the other search and payment options set above until your subscription application is processed.
 
How to get started as a subscriber:
Forms and instructions are available online at www.snb.ca. Click on "Registered Clients Enter Here", located to the right of the screen, and then select "Corporate Registry- Client Authentication Package".
 
We need you to return these to us with your banking information and authorization by June 30, 2005. Billing will not commence until Sept 1st. Early receipt of the forms is required to ensure no denial of service.
 
Please note:
Businesses and other registrants may access their own information records from the online Registry by inputting their New Brunswick Account Business Number in the available search screen. This is a unique 15 digit number that has been assigned to the business/registrant by the Province of New Brunswick in conjunction with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
