Note:
- Do not renew online if your address has changed. (options) If your address has changed, you must visit your local Service New Brunswick office to renew your registration to avoid any delay in the legal operation of your vehicle.
- The New Brunswick Motor Vehicle Act requires that a vehicle be registered on the motor vehicle system, and that the vehicle display valid licence plates with a valid registration sticker affixed to the plates.
- Vehicle owners now have a 10 day grace period after renewal of the registration before they must have the stickers affixed to their plates. The driver of the vehicle must have in their possession proof of registration (Online Receipt) within this 10 day period in the event a Peace Officer requests it.
- As part of the verification process, your insurance information may be confirmed with your
insurance agent.
It is the responsibility of the plate holder to ensure validation stickers are renewed and affixed to their plates by the 10th day after registration renewal date, for the vehicle to be used on the highway and to have the online receipt available for inspection.
If your address has changed, you must visit your local Service New Brunswick office to avoid any delay in the legal operation of your vehicle.
